Film 7--Dramatic Lighting

My mom has this dogwood in our front yard.  I like this picture because it's an interesting perspective.  I stood behind the flower and shot into the sun.  I really love this tree--it's always gorgeous in the spring.

This is the mask my aunt gave me.  I like this shot because it looks kind of creepy. (the fear of masks is called maskaphobia, by the way. and the fear of clowns is coulrophobia.) This is an interesting piece that also uses the rule of thirds.

Film 6--Choice

This is my friend Anna Kathleen.  I think she has pretty eyes.  I took this picture in trig class when we weren't doing anything.  I like how her eyes are so clear.

My aunt gave me this mask.  It's really interest, and hand-painted.  It's about the size of my hand and made of ceramic.  I like it a lot, even if i don't like my aunt.  It makes for a good picture.

Digital 9--Choice

This is my puppy Jasper; i call him JJ. He's my buddy :) He loves to lie in the sun.  I shot this by our front door, with the setting sun coming in.
This is my mom's favorite tree; our weeping cherry.  She got it when they moved into our house fifteen years ago, and it's been growing ever since.

Digital 10--Dramatic Lighting

This is a small, hand-blown glass heart that a very close family friend gave to me.  It has gorgeous colors and always makes me think of her when i look at it.  It's quite close to my heart.  I set it in front of lights i have strung over my dresser to create a soft colored light.
My grandmother gave me this jewelry box before she passed away.  It looks like a tiny metal horse inlaid with precious stones, but you can flip open the body to put some earrings or such in it.  Its really gorgeous, with gold plated lines and tiny crystals and sparkling paint.  I set up a light and shot it with just enough light ti create a silhouette, but not much else.
